Our vision
Every employer recognizes and benefits
from the best practice of including persons
with disabilities in the workforce
and marketplace.

Who is a person with a disability?

“A person with a disability has a long term recurring condition or health problem which limits the kind or amount of activity that he/she can do in the workplace; OR feels that he or she is perceived by others as limited in the kind or amount of work which he/she can do because of a physical, mental, sensory, psychiatric or learning impairment.”

People with disabilities may experience difficulty with their ability to perform common activities such as working, going to school, travelling, walking, communicating or performing daily tasks at home.
No single definition can cover all disabilities and in some cases, such as multiple sclerosis, heart disease, asthma or mental illness, the disability may be invisible.
